The programme offers opportunity to do management research by an internationally benchmarked standard. The student is offered generous financial assistance of Rupees 27,000 to 33,000 per month depending on the stage of completion and a free accommodation in the campus. A contingency grant of Rupees 1,20,000 and conference support are also available for the students.

It is a doctoral programme. The degree offered is no different compared to a PhD in effect. Our students are routinely placed as faculty members (or equivalent) in reputed universities in North America, Europe, India and Middle-east.
No, those who have Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from any IIM are exempted from writing any qualifying examination. Executive PGDM holders from IIM Kozhikode are also similarly exempted.
The family accommodation is available in campus in lieu of a nominal rent from the second year of the programme.
Two-thirds of our Fellows have been placed as faculty members in prestigious National Institutes (like IIM, IIT, NITIE) and in esteemed universities in Europe, North America or Middle East. Other FPM students have received offers from reputed corporate organizations.
If you have written CAT within the last three years, you can still apply. Moreover, you may also qualify through GRE, GATE, GMAT, UGC-NET/JRF depending on your area of specialisation.
It is a full time residential programme. You cannot pursue the programme along with working in your job.

There is no age limit.
Yes. Indian citizenship is not a prerequisite for admission to this programme. International students may submit their GATE/GRE/GMAT score to qualify for the programme. NRIs / foreign national students are also entitled for partial to full waiver of fees and or partial or full stipends based on their request and merits on a case to case basis.

There is no fixed number of seats. We will admit you as long as you are found suitable for the programme.
Generally it takes five years to complete the programme.
You are allowed to work as an academic associate at IIM Kozhikode in the sixth year.
No. If selected, you need to physically come to our campus on the specified days to appear for the interview.
We will arrange your accommodation in the campus at nominal expense and will also reimburse your to and fro travel expenses between the railway station at the place of residence and Kozhikode, limited to III AC train fare.
The FPM students are supported for attending national and international conferences. A grant of Rs.1,75,000/- is given to attend an international conference. A grant of Rs.20,000/- are given for attending national conferences.
